Steve Kobuta rebuilt my 60 year old 4 speed transmission a few years ago when I could not find anyone else who knew these old ones and he is such a friendly old school professional that our relationship grew from there... Since then he's board and reamed a set of cylinders and matched the pistons to 0.004 inch and even set them up with the pistons sticking out the bottom of the cylinders for me so all I had to do was slip in the pins and lower them onto the cases, it was so slick. RecommendedI had a gas tank for a 98 Honda aero, the clear coat was coming off. I went to several motorcycle shops in CT, they all said they had to strip the tank and repaint and the cost was 1500 or more. Brought it down to S&M. He striped the clear coat off and redid the clear coat. The tank looks brand new and saved me $$$. Could not be happier. Thanks S&M

Great service, professional. Steve went above and beyond for a major service. My Harley ran noticeably better after service.
Steve is a stand up guy. I’ve had a bunch of service and major engine work done here. He always follows up to see how everything is running. Way more personal than the dealerships.
Just recently picked up an old road king needed to have it completely checked out. Went to a couple dealers in the area only to find the biggest tools in the shop were them. Went down to S&M met Steve and he hooked me up even had my bike back for Saturday !! Absolutely trust worthy guy I’ll never go anywhere else!! Thanks for the work and honesty Steve much appreciated!
Prices are great, I brought my bike on a Thursday with the request of having it back Friday and he delivered no questions asked. Bike shifts like it did when I got it new, and I got educated on some of the things I wasn’t noticing. Great place to do business with
I just got new front and rear suspension on my Sportster and Steve was very helpful with helping me pick the right shocks . He’s a super nice guy and he got the job done fast too. I highly recommend his services. See you soon Steve !
Once again, Steve helped me out big time this morning. At DMV and the Panhead won’t start no matter what I tried. Shot over to see Steve who with persistence and his knowledge got the old girl started. Guess she doesn’t like the cold! Took for a quick spin and all good. Back to DMV where started right up and passed inspection and was able to register. Thanks Steve and S&M Custom Cycles!!
