VERY BAD SEVICE!!!! My family rented a boat for my boyfriend's birthday and when we arrived at their office to get the keys, no one was around. We ended up waiting almost an hour for someone to show up. S K WATERCRAFT RENTAL IS A MASSIVE SCAM – On 8/17/11 our family went to S K watercraft rental, and rented two of their units for $170 for an hour, and still have the receipt. Along with the $170 we had to put down a deposit of $1000, $500 for each unit rented out. We were informed that the deposit would be shredded after we returned the two units back to them. Terrible Service – We rented a pontoon boat. After asking about the gas situation, there is only a 6 gallon gas tank, we were told that a pontoon boat had never run out of gas on a half day rental. We were also told we would easily be able to make it to downtown Portland and back in the allotted time. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM SK NORTHWEST!!! – I cant even explain how mad I am about this company. We rented two snowmobiles for new years and had a blast. But had an issue loading it on the trailor and dented the bumper $56.00 dollar part. With labor and parts and a $100 crash estimate $475.00 total for one. AVOID!! DAMAGE SCAM! Fraud! LAWSUIT Pending! – My finance' and I rented a jet ski and paid over 180 dollars. 3 months later, I get over a 300 dollar charge on my credit card for a prop seal ring - I never authorized this charge. I first called my bank and they sent me what the owner (Shawn) had done to make the charge. It was a fraudulent charge on my account. I'm an Idiot – So I am one of the idiots that chose to rent from this company. Everything on this review site is true. We had a great time, it was super fun and I would do it again. Just never with these guys. After a fun day on the water we damaged the watercraft slightly. It was noticeable and they noticed it. There was also damage that occurred that had nothing to do with the accident. We were charged for this as well. But not for 2 months later. Great day on the water – We have rented SeaDoos from SK every August for the past 6 years. The staff is friendly and the equipment is in very good shape. We take the kids and ride east up the river. The Columbia and the sandy beaches are the best! A great family day on the water.
