Jeffrey and I had the best day of our lives at Rye yesterday. The staff was incredible and turned our wedding day (ceremony and dinner reception) into the perfect, carefree day we hoped it would be. Every member of our party told us it was the best event they've been to, the best food and drink and cake they've had; that's what we wanted to share with everyone and Susan Kane and the Rye crew made it happen! Wow!! Just wow! Had dinner there last night with a friend and we were blown away. Everything was outstanding and the atmosphere was fantastic. Loved it!
Lunch at Rye yesterday had me asking myself why I had waited 6 months to go there. The ingredients were high quality, fresh, and local -- on their website they even list the names & locations of the farmers who supply them with local products. The server was attentive and knowledgable. The décor creates a comfortable atmosphere. The Pimm's Cup recipe was spot-on and perfect for a hot, muggy day.
Great food, great service, wonderful space. Simply sublime.
