Great food, casual atmosphere! The shrimp and grits were amazing...Birthday boy loved the burnt ends....The whipped goat cheese/honey appetizer is a MUST try!
Outstanding service, amazing cocktails and wine list, wonderful food, great specials. You are doing yourself an insane disservice if you don't order the Mac N Cheese. Hands down best in town! The banana cream is my favorite pie ever, but all the desserts are top notch. Save room!

Best fried chicken in KC, amazing sides and TO DIE FOR pies!
Dinner last night was great! Better than I expected. Service was perfect. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Server was present without being bothersome. Really deserves 5 stars for the experience but... 1. The breast of our fried chicken was burnt. 2. The lemon pie to go was expensive for 2 1/2 inches of pie and it did not hold up.. it was like custard thrown in the bottom of a small box.

Awesome as usual....shared the domestic cheese plate, shrimp & grits and a wonderful bottle of wine!
The service, atmosphere, selection of beverages, and food is among one of the best I ever seen. It's one of those restaurants that you must eat at when coming to Kansas.

We've eaten there a couple of times and I've always been impressed by the cocktail menu. The food was cooked very well and the atmosphere is nice. It's a good place.
The fried chicken & shrimp and grits were delicious. The lemon pie was excellent. We'll be back.
