Asparagus was over salted. Server tried to serve us someone else’s food but waitress caught it at last minute. Lobster was okay but not great and steak was over cooked for medium.
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. The service was excellent and the food was superb. I had the Chilean sea bass and my girlfriend had the 6oz filet. We shared the scallop potato’s and the sweet potato casserole. My sea bass was the best I have ever had anywhere. We will be back.
As with every Ruth's Chris we been to the experience at South Barrington was the same, excellent! Service was perfect, quality of food outstanding, from the Tuna appetizer, to the soup, of course the steak (cowboy ribeye) and the cheesecake dessert, you definitely get what you pay for! We never feel rushed and the staff makes you feel like you are their only customer!

My first time dining here and it was fantastic. Our server Jackie made my 40th birthday dinner a night I will remember. The filet was out of this world and OMG the mashed potatoes, so delicious. Highly recommend.
