This was my second visit , I was with friends who go every year for the last four years. Last year I thought it was great but they said it wasn’t like before and this year was worse. The mashed potatoes were cold. The broccoli was cold and had to be sent back. Friends ordered calamari extra crispy ( it wasn’t) usually the waiters clear the crumbs from the table but not this time. After dinner, the coffee was not very warm. Yes it’s expensive and you should get what you pay for. I don’t think any of us will go back.
Fabulous! Food & service were both top notch. We attended after a Bass Hall performance, & while it was late, staff was very attentive to us, asking if it was a special occasion, and never rushing us to finish. My medium rare filet was cooked & seasoned to perfection, as was my husband's medium ribeye. The creamed spinach & garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. Our December Birthdays Group has been meeting for dinner at Ruth's Chris for the past 3 years. While the past years food and service have kept us coming back, that all changed with this past week's experience. After waiting almost and hour to get our food, three in our party received way overcooked steaks that had to be sent back immediately. One of those never got her steak re-delivered at all. We ate there on Thanksgiving and the food was terrible! You would think for $250 you would get the steak done correctly. When I called to complain they put me on hold and ignored me. They have gone down hill!
Great service, atmosphere and food! Staff worked extra hard to accommodate us on a holiday!
