Editorial fromNo need to ask where the beef is; it's coming your way in great, hulking portions, served sizzling hot on metal platters. Filets, rib-eyes, a gargantuan porterhouse for two, a classic T-bone, all usually topped with a big gob of…

awesome juciest filet ever! – Went there for a business lunch yesterday,,,, we all enjoyed our steaks! Service was excellent as well, we will b back for sure!!
Sometimes you just want great service – yes, the food is fine, and yes the menu is pricey....but ya know, sometimes, you just want to be made to feel special, like the crew and waitstaff at Ruth,s Chris do. The steaks are very good, and the service is top notch. It's great to get out forna special nite every so often
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY – I for one was not impressed. On a Tuesday night, it took forever to get seated, and a even longer time to get the attention of our waitress. She had attitude written all over her, and my tip reflected that. The steaks were equal to what you get in a Longhorn, just marked up so you pay for the name. WILL NEVER GO BACK.
A Swing and a Miss – For a first meal, after six months eating lowest-bidder contract meals in a third world country, my wife and I thought it would be nice to eat in one of Baltimore's award-winning steak restaurants. We picked Ruth's Chris after reading many reviews in local papers, seeing the awards posted in their window, and hearing positive word of mouth. We went on a Friday night around 8 o'clock, without making a reservation, and were seated immediately. There were only two other tables occupied when we arrived, whic... read more
Sophisticated American chain serves up corn-fed USDA prime cuts and New Orleans-style appetizers and sides. – In Short This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Choice cuts of custom-aged beef arrive in sizzling butter on 500-degree plates. The menu also offers chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade. Family-style sides include gargantuan onion rings, creamed spinach and various st... read more
Solid quality, but boring – My family loves steak houses so I have been to the best steakhouses in Florida, Atlanta, and Baltimore. Honestly I find Ruth's Chris to be the most traditional and bland. The quality of the meat itself is good, but Ruth's Chris simply lacks the inventiveness of other steakhouses such as Capital Grille, Chops, Bones etc. Honestly if you want traditional then go to the Prime Rib because they have better service and quality.
EXCELLENT – I've been to all the Ruth's Chris Steak House location in Baltimore - Water Street & Pier 5 and they are GREAT! Service is outstanding and food is always consistent and delicious. Currently they are offering a 3 Course Meal on Sunday & Monday's for $35.95. Its a great deal that is running in conjuction with the 15th Anniversary in Baltimore! Check it out!
Best steak in Baltimore – I recently dined at the Ruth's Chris in Baltimore and had an outstanding experience. The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to make my dinner an event. I had a NY Strip and I can say without reservation that it was the best steak I have every had in Baltimore. I would reccommend this restaruant to anyone.
Not Best In Baltimore But not Bad – Overcooked meat because they put them on an over heated plate. That is where the sizzle comes from (and the tiny grease spots on your shirt). The meats have a good flavor but not great. The atmosphere, decor, food presentation and service, are the only reason to go there. Anyone you take there will be impressed and probably won't notice the average and over priced food.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House has a 4.3 star rating with 1,300 reviews.
