A little about Rustic Cafe Built in 1947 as the Rustic Inn, it was a large restaurant, bar and dance hall ( the picture to the right is of the original liquor license ). It was known to have the likes of Frank Sinatra and Will Rogers stop by for evenings out. After a devestating fire in the early '60's, it was rebuilt in 1969 to its present, cozy size and renamed Rustic Cafe. Me n my friends were looking for a bite to eat after beach with our kids. This was close when we walked in and started looking at menu we thought about leaving cause of our kids..but we stayed and honestly I'm so glad we did!! We learned about pickle backs and our kids ended up being life of the party outside with our table mates next to us �� our waitress was awesome and I wanted a fruity martini and they threw one together and they were perfect.
