A little about Rustic Cafe Built in 1947 as the Rustic Inn, it was a large restaurant, bar and dance hall ( the picture to the right is of the original liquor license ). It was known to have the likes of Frank Sinatra and Will Rogers stop by for evenings out. After a devestating fire in the early '60's, it was rebuilt in 1969 to its present, cozy size and renamed Rustic Cafe. On our way home from Boston we stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant. At first we were a little weary to try it, but as the old saying "you can't judge a book by its cover" definitely applies to this sweet gem. The inside was very clean and warm feeling.
