A 'keeper' – The dining area is large with plenty of tables. Posters, pictures, advertisements adorn the walls. The ceiling are high which sometimes mean the noise level is loud. Not in this case. We found a table toward the front of the dining area as the kitchen gives off heat from the ovens. My salad arrived first, just a basic side portion of Caesar's. The romaine lettuce was crispy and the dressing tangy. My slice of heaven arrived as I finished the salad and boy-howdy was it HUGE! I will admit that I am a plain cheese ... read more

Never dissapointed – I am never disappointed when I go to Russo's. I know that it's a chain, but this pizza is good. I live right across the street, so I don't have to deal with parking, which, I can imagine, would be an issue. I haven't had anything besides pizza and soup, but everything else looks really good. My boyfriend makes it a point to go every time he comes in to town (long distance relationships suck) and get the pesto chicken pizza. The slices are HUGE, so all you'd need is one. The crust is crispy but yet doughy... read more

Amazing – I was coming home from class and I called my husband to see what he was in the mood to eat for dinner. He said Italian. So I pulled up my handy-dandy Yelp app and looked up what was near by. I didn't have a menu so I just orded two lasagna's and two salads to go. They said 15-20 minutes. I got there and the food was ready, which was really nice not to have to wait. The price for all of it after tip was $38. Definitely not an every night take-out meal but it was nice to treat ourselves on a Tuesday night. The lasagn... read more

They make great pizza – Did you know there is a mathematical equation for how good a pizza restaurant is? Well it's Proximity to home X Taste. Think about it. No one wants to drive half-way across town for a slice or even have a pizza pie delivered from across town, but if something is conveniently located you can put up with something less than spectacular. Russo's though is 1 block from where I live and they make great pizza. I have had lunch and dinner here multiple times. For lunch they offer a soup and slice special whi... read more

It has FLAVOR – Pizza at Russo's. Russo's is a major plus for the neighborhood, as there is absolutely nothing comparable on this stretch of 75. But this would be top-five pizza, regardless of the 'hood. The crust is thin, yet stretchy, and has char marks around the edges. And it has FLAVOR: There's a yeasty thing plus some salt in there. Topping selection is way above usual; they do a pizza with egg. But they don't overdo; they let the crust and the toppings shine.

Largest pizza – You gotta see it to believe it! The largest pizza in Houston comes from the New York Pizzeria, and like its name, this is a real New York pizza. I took home a 28 inch pizza and had to have my wife open the back door as far as it would go and then still had to tilt the pizza to get it into the house. I had to tilt it again by the entrance to the kitchen. I knew my doors were wide enough for the pizza; I just didn't figure on the even larger box that holds the pizza.

I wanted to let you know I LOOOOOOVE your place. My kids and I frequent the Sugar Land location, but today I took my office administrator to your Galleria location. She LOVED the lasagne. I had the well balanced lunch (salad and cheesecake!) Since we sat right in front of you, so I was trying to maintain my composure while trying the pomogranite dressing. Okay, do you make that? Sell it? Now that we are back at the office, she is at the moment gushing about the food and desserts to everyone around. (You may need to put in mo... read more

Best I've ever had – My name is Shay Hoffman, and I live in Austin, Texas. I'm from McAllen, and have sampled your product many, many times before. Having tasted at least twenty different local and chain's products in Austin, Russo's is still the best I've ever had. I know that I, personally would drive to any part of this city to have a slice of your giant pizza, and think y'all could do very well here. I am fervently hoping a franchise eventually opens here. I really hope you will keep it in mind.

Excellent pizza and service – Excellent Pizza and Service. I work for Xerox and come to training in Houston on occasion and always order from you. I just wanted to say what a excellent job you do and thanks. Being in customer service I know how people will always complain but somewhow forget to say thanks when something is done right.!
