Going back for more – Great new york style pizzas! Had the New York Village Pizza, which was like a supreme pizza but just better. Price is pretty affordable for the size of the pizza you get. Have already found myself going back for more.

The real deal – New York Pizzeria is the real deal. Giant slices of pizza cut from homemade pies are cooked the old-fashioned way in brick ovens. Hand tossed before your eyes, the Italian and Sicilian pies are the main attractions, while stuffed pizzas like Stromboli and spinach Calzones are also popular choices.

Special – Frank Sinatra's on the juke box, fluorescent lights flicker overhead. I could be enjoying "a slice" at John's on Bleeker Street in New York, but I'm not. I'm in Meyerland at New York Pizzeria. "New York pizza has the same deserved reputation as Texas barbecue," said chef and owner Anthony Russo."You can eat pizza in every city in the world, but when you take your first bite of New York pizza, you know it's special."

A 'keeper' – The dining area is large with plenty of tables. Posters, pictures, advertisements adorn the walls. The ceiling are high which sometimes mean the noise level is loud. Not in this case. We found a table toward the front of the dining area as the kitchen gives off heat from the ovens. My salad arrived first, just a basic side portion of Caesar's. Amazing – I was coming home from class and I called my husband to see what he was in the mood to eat for dinner. He said Italian. So I pulled up my handy-dandy Yelp app and looked up what was near by. I didn't have a menu so I just orded two lasagna's and two salads to go. They said 15-20 minutes. I got there and the food was ready, which was really nice not to have to wait. The price for all of it after tip was $38. It has FLAVOR – Pizza at Russo's. Russo's is a major plus for the neighborhood, as there is absolutely nothing comparable on this stretch of 75. But this would be top-five pizza, regardless of the 'hood. The crust is thin, yet stretchy, and has char marks around the edges. And it has FLAVOR: There's a yeasty thing plus some salt in there. Topping selection is way above usual; they do a pizza with egg. But they don't overdo; they let the crust and the toppings shine.

I wanted to let you know I LOOOOOOVE your place. My kids and I frequent the Sugar Land location, but today I took my office administrator to your Galleria location. She LOVED the lasagne. I had the well balanced lunch (salad and cheesecake!) Since we sat right in front of you, so I was trying to maintain my composure while trying the pomogranite dressing. Okay, do you make that? Excellent pizza and service – Excellent Pizza and Service. I work for Xerox and come to training in Houston on occasion and always order from you. I just wanted to say what a excellent job you do and thanks. Being in customer service I know how people will always complain but somewhow forget to say thanks when something is done right.!

My office ordered pizza and I told my husband how good it was. We have ordered from you several times since and LOVE the food! Also, the online ordering is so great-what ever it is costing you-it is WELL worth it! We are in fact, waiting for an order we just placed!
