Two years ago I suffered from an aortic dissection. I was in a wheelchair, and on dialysis, for 8 months. It affected me physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have mostly recovered with the compassionate help of my nephrologist and cardiologist. Russell Gura had been my Internist. He showed no compassion, and made my recovery much more difficult.
