I've been in twice for the same issue with my transmission..just annoyed that this is the second time I've had to be off work drive to ft.wayne and sit there. I also told them that my car was slipping very hard and they didn't even look..and if they did they didn't say why that was
I dove a 1999 Ford Ranger in to get it scanned and test driven, (it was slipping at highway speeds when trying to pass) an hour later I was told the scan didnt show anything and the transmission was slipping in fwd and rev. Cost $1200 + parts or $2400. Told them I would think about it. Went to drive away and my truck wouldnt move in D or R. I had to drive home in 2nd. "What the hell happened!!" I drove it there. After my father's truck was initially repaired by a body shop in Fort Wayne and not properly inspected and repaired the 4 wheel drive system causing the transmissions to not shift properly. The technician was able to diagnose and fix the problem with in a few days. We were given options on cost and recommendation. They did a great job!
