What a caring and compassionate doctor!! He has now performed 4 surgeries on me (four different areas) and I’ve never had one problem with anything he did. He’s a highly skilled surgeon and I will use him if ever I need anything else surgically. He’s nice, calm, caring, patient, kind and so is his staff. I’m blessed for knowing him!!
Grateful to have been referred to Dr. Birdwell and his team! One of the best physicians in all aspects: bedside manner, knowledge, professionalism, quality of care, expertise along with being a man of faith. Everyone in his office was also fantastic! Went in for emergency surgery and Dr. Birdwell was great. He was very informative, professional, and made me feel very comfortable prior to surgery.
My inguinal hernia surgery was effortless. This was my second surgery performed by Dr. Birdwell. From my previous experience with Dr. Birdwell he was the doctor I wanted for this surgery. Words would not suffice to how good this Doctor is, excellent people skills to go along with his surgical skills. He may not be a Master at it now, but Surely headed in that direction. Rare today in cookie cutter Doctors...only after the money!
Dr Birdwell is the best. I first met him in 2017 at BSW Garland Hospital with severe diverticulitis resulting in the removal of part of my colon. I was not looking forward to a colostomy bag, and he did everything possible to make sure that did not happen. I ended up in 2022 having to have hernia repair surgery not once but twice for 2 seperate types, and his office and associates took wonderful care of me. Dr. B and the staff were so friendly and personable. Dr. B's calm and laid back demeanor made it easy to talk about my issues, and he has a special way to assure you he's going to make everything better...and he did just that!
