I had an excellent experience at The Running Room. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely took the time to help me find the right fit instead of just trying to make a sale. You can really tell they care about runners and making sure customers leave happy and comfortable. Pros: Lots of selection & various products, locally owned store Cons: Lady working seemed to be overly assertive when selling me shoes, processed seemed rushed and almost condescending? I gave an ideal budget and was sold shoes that were deliberately over and didn't mention it until after they were rang in.
Stopped in last weekend on a busy Saturday and got my 1st pair of Hokas. Emma helped me select the correct pair for my gait and sized me properly. Thanks for your help! I’ve since registered for a fall race after your words of encouragement.
