The idea of the Rundown cafe was born in 1993 from tropical travel adventures and a love for the fresh exciting foods of the Islands."Rundown" is the name of a coconut milk, fish chowder so named "Because Mon it run down so good." We ate lunch here today and loved it!! The food and service were awesome!!!! We sat outside on the deck & the view is amazing!!!! We are frequently in the outer banks but have never tried this spot!!!!! So glad we did!!!! We’ll definitely be back soon :)

Fun, cute place. Great food. Bright tropical decor. Great local seafood prepared lots of different ways...fish tacos, wraps, sandwiches, etc....the game fish this day was tuna. Milepost 1. On the beach road across from Hilton Garden Inn.
