Dr. Ruiz is an amazing pediatrician. He cares about his patients as if they are family. Always available. I would recommend him to everyone who has a little one. He is the BEST ??
Dr. Ruiz has seen my baby since he was 6 days old. I work as a Medical Assistant for other Pediatrician, but Dr. Ruiz and Dr. Mafur continue to be my baby's doctors. It is true that I have to wait hours before my baby is seen, but the doctors I work with are also like that. Dr. Ruiz has a great sixth sense, and the time he takes to tell you what the baby has doesn't seem to redeem the time you spent waiting for him, but at least you are in good hands. I don't have complaints for his staff.
Dr. Ruiz Unger has been my children's doctor for 27 years. He is knowledgeable, caring and has proven his skills over the many years. I have recommended him to the parents of my church and work family and they were happy to have him as a doctor.
He is a great doctor but sometimes the room waiting time is long. Now he has a rude/moody front desk lady that has nothing to do with the overall doctor service.
Dr. Ruiz-Unger is an excellent doctor. However, the waiting periods in his office are unacceptable. I took my teenage daughter for a vaccine on Saturday, July 9. Wr arrived at 9:45 am at 1 pm they had mot called her yet. There were not that many patients. The office staff could not explain the delay. It was frustrating and totally unprofessional to have patients wait over 3 hours in an office. I recommend that the management of the office be improved and the doctor on-call ne more efficient.
