Rudy's Barber Shop also has a Pearl District __cpLocation ( 212 NW 13th Ave. - 503.525.2900 ) I've tried them all... old school barbers, even Bishops (the worst haircut I EVER got - I think the "barbers" are drinking that awful beer they serve!) I finaly went to Rudy's in the pearl and got the perfect haircut. They actually listen to you when they ask you what you want - and do it exactly they way you asked. Get a cut with some kitsch at this nontraditional barber shop in Belltown. – In Short The wall is covered with pictures of models and movie stars, along with posters reminiscent of communist propaganda gone Gen-X. Rudy's is an anomaly in the world of barber shops, but don't let the facade dissuade you. This clean, efficient shop cuts and styles for all generations--from the Pokemon crowd to those old enough for senior discounts. It's also one of the few places in town offering the traditional straight blade shave.
Hacks I had the worst experience ever at Rudy's. The customer service was terrible. What's up with the attitude? The hair cut was ok, but the color? I've could of did a better job with a box color from the store. I don't reccomend going there at all.
Hair Extravaganza!!! – I visited Rudy's for the first time and was delighted beyond belief! My stylist was very friendly and had amazing haircutting skills. She was very helpful in aquiring a new look for me. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere! Rudy's RULES, Best Haircut ever! I'm sold on this funky lil shop!
Best "Trendy" Hair Place EVA'! I was looking for a cool, trendy place to get my hair cut for graduation, and I was recommeded to go to Rudy's. I went there and got the perfect haircut that I had been looking for. The woman that helped me was very helpful and knowledgable and it was very inexpensive! The receptionist even held a reservation for us as we were driving there. The only downside was the lack of parking, but in SE Portland, what can you expect? I strongly recommed going here rather than those $45+ haircut places!
RUDY'S SUCKS!!!! – This place is the worst of it all - the too-cool Seattle attitude, combined with unskilled stylists who don't care about how you look after they get done mauling your head. I have had two BAD haircuts from Rudy's, and have heard horror stories from other people as well. The worst part is that THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED with the haircut. Do not support this business, you can get better, cheaper, friendlier service at your local barber shop
Not worth talking about – Rudy's gives the same haircut to everyone who walk in the door. I have had two different boyfriends go there and both were given the same hair!! I got my hair cut there once, it was simple and boring. Absolutely nothing to write home about. The best place in Seattle to get you hair done at is Vain in belltown. It is on first avenue between Virgina and Lenora.
fantastic – may be too cool for me, but a great place for a haircut. can be a little slow though (i had to wait ~1hr)
