Please do not schedule an appointment with Ruby Ali! If I could give zero stars, I would. I should have looked at some previous reviews of this doctor before scheduling an appointment for my mom with this neurologist that works for Northbay. My mom had an appointment scheduled with Ruby Ali to diagnose her potential dementia as I noticed many symptoms and wanted to get a diagnosis and potential plan. The appointment was useless and frustrating. Dr. Rubi Ali had no bed side manner at all. She was rude and very condescending t... read more

Impossible to get refills for necessary medication Dr Ali and her staff are terrible and do not consider the health of the patient. Can not get a call back after many many messages left with service about no medication on hand and a prescription needed. She will be reported to medical board of California for negligence.
I've tried to call her to ask about treatment for my uncontrollable movements and she has not returned my call. She don't seem like she cares. Getting another doctor.

Terrible Dr do not waste your time. Cancels appointments constantly, and on same day. Does not do much of anything. I would highly suggest not to use this Do tor or office ever. Will regret it.
I’ve seen Dr Ali many times for my TBI. She had been able to explain my TBI better than any doctor than I’ve ever seen. Her expertise is amazing and if you are looking for a great Neurologist than you have just found her.
Business response:
Bill, Thank you for your kind review. We will be sure to share it with the doctor.
First, they couldn't schedule me until 3 months after my EEG. Then they called me a month before my apt. frantic and said they needed to see me by the end of the week. When I got there she told me my EEG was showing epileptic discharges (she didn't understand because my symptoms didn't sound like seizures) but told me I should start taking seizure meds. I asked for the original EEG which took them weeks (and hours of sitting on hold) to figure out how to put on a disk. I asked for a 2nd opinion which her manager declined. I ... read more

I’ve seen Dr Ali many times for my TBI. I even went so far to write a great review. Sadly, I was wrong. I contacted her office today because I just lost my taste. Her staff could not be any more rude. They told me there is nothing that she can do and for me to call my primary care. I canceled my next appointment and will never return to office again. People should not work in an industry that requires compassion and understanding if they want to treat people so rudely.
I would give ZERO stars, but that's not an option. My mom hadbeen having some memory issues and a few hallucinations, and after a visit with her primary doc at Northbay Medical Center she referred us to Dr Ruby Ali. After an MRI, and based on Dr. Ruby Ali's clinical diagnosis she thought the diagnosis pointed to Lewy body Dementia or Parkinson's Dementia. She had absolutelyZERO bedsidemanner in delivering this news to mom and I, she then proceeded to prescribe 3 different drugs and then said see how you do on these drugs and... read more
Misgendered me several times, blamed my symptoms on HRT. Always too busy to listen. Reasons for my symptoms changed with every visit. Strung me along without offering any treatments or therapies. Acted like it was all my fault. Do not recommend.
