Dr. Rubin is exceptionally condescending and rude. You will have long wait times to see him. He will never acknowledge that or apologize. If you ask about it, he will treat you rudely. I once witnessed him intentionally aggravating a teenage patient who smoked about how smoking is horrible and why would anyone do that, and then, a week later, I discovered Dr. Rubin lived in my neighborhood -- where I saw him smoking in his front yard. He is a horrible doctor without any bedside manner or empathy to speak of.

I have known/ seen Dr. Rubin as a patient, off and on, for many many years. I trust him 100%, and I trust very few. He makes me feel valued and respected; not just a patient with issues or who needs help. Thanks Dr. Rubin.

This was my first visit with a Psychiatrist for ongoing depression. I was referred to Scott Rubin from my counselor for evaluation for a prescription. Dr. Rubin's bedside manner was harsh and cold. He was unfriendly, hurried, and uncaring. He was insensitive to me as a patient, which is especially unacceptable for a professional in the mental health field. His intern was better than him regarding compassion, care, and attentiveness. I will never return to Dr. Rubin, and will not forget his callous attention to patients!

Does Not Care At All About His Patients. You will wait at minimum 90 minutes. That is because he comes in around 1030 when his first patient is at 9am. He has strange doctors in the office with you. They talk not Rubin. He does not want to hear if you are struggling which is disgusting given the fact that he deals with mentally ill ppl. He never gets your permission to have these doctors in the room. I don’t want all these strangers knowing my personal info. Max time one gets... 2 minutes

He should be ashamed of himself. I am patient of Dr. Rubin. Here’s how your visits will go. How are you? When you start to talk, he cuts you off. Doesn’t care ANYTHING ABOUT HOW YOU ARE FEELING. He starts seeing patients at 9am, but doesn’t come in until 10am. Hands you a prescription and THAT’S IT. I have seen ppl in clear psychosis and he lets them walk out. He has an ethical responsibility to legal 2000 ppl but he’s too lazy, uncaring to give a damn.

Reviewed the website for the Dr. Called to inquire about insurance (most do not take insurance) Left a message. Received a call back from the front receptionist, she was very short, and unfriendly, her demeanor was very unpleasant. Her interaction alone made me decide to search for another provider.

Horrible doctor/nurse! Dr. Rubin did nothing to help me. When I was not doing well I told him twice that I am not well. He did nothing! On the 3rd visit I told him what to do. Very long wait times (at least 1 hour). My last visit was with the Nurse. My pharmacy had sent several faxes telling them to fill a prescription. She told me they do not respond to them! They get too many. AND her, I lost my last prescription slip and asked for another one. She said she is not doing it ever again. FIRED!

I have been a patient of Dr. Rubin for 15+ yrs. I have always witnessed compassion and total commitment to best care. He is not fuzzy cuddle bear he is there with an honesty you may not like to hear about your current situation. Rude never you just might not like advice about looking inward for change as well as outward for contributing factors. Meds help but no magic pill can solve all your troubles. He has extensive knowledge & continues to research new ways. His ears wide open & great recall

Dr. Rubin had absolutely no time for me and treated me like I was an inconvenience. During my appointment he was texting on his phone and not paying attention to what I was saying at all. On my second visit with him he blamed me for all my problems and then got me out of there as soon as possible. Waste of time and money. Extremely rude.
