From the beginning of my journey to date, Dr. Rubin and his staff have been wonderful. The nurses are both professional and welcoming. It's a weird statement to say that a broken wrist can have enjoyable moments but the office visits have really been a pleasure. Wait times at the office are minimal and Dr Rubin will leave you feeling confident that you are in good hands. (Pun Intended)
I injured my wrist at work which revealed I had a calcification with tendonitis but since it was workers comp I was sent to an orthopedic practice, but this doctor not only misdiagnosed me with a fracture, but told me to take a chill pill when I requested further imaging. Dr. Rubin was my second opinion and he hit the nail right on the head! Not only did he correctly diagnose me, within a month's time my calcification went away and I no longer have any pain! Seriously... I had a bad case of trigger finger, rt hand middle finger, I called and made an appointment. The staff is very professional and they brought me back on time...imagine that. Dr. Rubin diagnosed it, did a sonogram, injected it with a magic potion, and voila...after 5 days completely healed. Dr. Rubin stated not to expect changes for 5 to 7 days. I was recommended to Dr Ruben upon experiencing a workplace injury to my right pinky and he insisted that I'd have surgery to corrected it. Initially I didn't think I'd be to do my job or hobbies again but instead thanks to Dr. Ruben and his staff I can not only do my job as a photographer but I can still draw/sketch and hold my wife like I always have. Also Dr. Ruben is even treating my mother with her arthritis and doing a phenomenal job.
I waited on the phone for ten minutes, the woman answering the phone asked me to read my mri results, then said “I don’t know if Dr Rubin would accept you as a patient” at that point I said I no longer wanted to be a patient if that is the way he conducts his practice, she said “ ok” rude, arrogant, wow
Before seeing Dr. Rubin, I was in constant pain with my left thumb. Following surgery, I am pain fee and so happy with the results!!!
Very good surgeon, my finger joint replacement surgery was relatively successful; the office personnel are very helpful. Not much information is given about what to expect or what exercises would be recommended. I had to pay more than my deductible upfront and had to ask/wait for my reimbursement. Also, two post op visits were scheduled and I had to pay for the second visit!
Dr. Rubin and his staff were the best-I arrived for my Appt and was actually taken in earlier than my actual Appt time. The staff conducted all testing required and were quick and efficient. The Doctor reviewed all information and concluded that I had a trigger thumb and used technical information in order to give me a cortisone shot in the exact spot needed for pain relief.
