(Update: The manager of the car wash got in touch with me and rectified the situation by giving me a refund on the money I was out. So I am changing it from a one star to a three star. I’m glad they made it right. I hope that no one else loses as money. It seems like they at least cared when I finally got a hold of someone who could do something about it. Thank you.) Terrible experience. I’m out $20 with no car wash. I brought a very dirty Suburban I had just purchased from out of state. The roof was caked with tree debris and road film, so I really needed a solid wash. The sprayer worked at first when I used quarters, but after I ran out, I swiped my card. That worked briefly—until the card reader started glitching. Then I used the change machine, which gave me proprietary tokens instead of quarters (why?).
