Reality stars Bill and Giuliana Rancic teamed up with chef Doug Psaltis and Molly Melman of Lettuce Entertain You and created the concept for RPM. Combining their initials and various talents, the group created a menu featuring modern Italian cuisine. The menu runs the gamut serving Venetian style starters like fried olives, provolone stuffed peppers and chicken liver crostini. I have a gf and dairy allergy..our waiter was awesome in telling me I was able to have and what they could change to accommodate me!!
Took our Bachlorette out for the evening. Lobster Ravioli was AMAZING. Fantastic service, great atmosphere.
Food was alright, but not worth the wait!! Not sure why they take reservations, as we weren't seated until 45 minutes after our reservation time.
If I could do zero stars I would. Who waits 30 minutes for a reservation that they were on time for and the hostess staff seems to care less. What's the point in making a reservation?!!
I was excited as a Californian visiting Chicago to dine at RPM. We arrive on a Wednesday evening late @ 10:15 and the place was still hopping busy. Sat down and ordered a drink (Bellini) and an appetizer tuna bruschetta, both were delicious! Moved on to a chopped salad and the heirloom tomatoes, again very happy with both. We sat at the bar which is a beautiful space - open, comfortable. Had great service from our bar tender who made me an excellent Negroni. We had appetizers - the tuna carpaccio bruschetta were excellent and the cheese and meat plate was spectacular. Special call out to the small plate of sauces.
Last Friday our Company, Katherine Elizabeth Designs, had dinner @ RPM Italian in The Boardroom for 12 people. Maggie Franseen in Catering, was an outstanding help. Our Server, Jamison, was fantastic taking care of our every need. Naturally all of the food was delicious and the wine list had a big enough selection to appeal to everyone's taste. Can't wait to go back!
