We recently purchased an RP home in the Strawberry Hills community in Knoxville, TN. While the neighborhood is peaceful and the neighbors are wonderful, the post-closing service from the builder has been unacceptable. Once the sale was finalized, communication and accountability completely came to a snails-pace. We should not have to keep hounding them for anything. Awful dealing with these people. Atrocious quality, rude representatives, disgusting business practices.
As a homeowner residing in this development, I am profoundly dissatisfied with RP Homes and the contractors responsible for the construction of my residence. Initially, the company made a promise of a luxurious living experience, which has unfortunately not been fulfilled. Upon closing on the home, RP Homes guarantees that any malfunctions will be rectified under a one-year warranty contract. I have been in my RP Home for 4 and a half years. I feel very comfortable saying that I believe (as a FAA licensed aircraft mechanic) I could build a better quality home out if wet cardboard. The materials used to build this house are of such poor quality they are below the minimum standard of the cheapest product offered at Lowe's and Home Depot. My husband and I recently bought a townhouse at the Bexley by RP Homes on McCallie Ave. The process was seamless. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and kind. Huge shoutout to Kenny Muhlack, our realtor who went above and beyond and has never tired of my nonstop myriad of questions. Jill Adkins was also wonderful to work with in keeping us informed at each step of the process. The construction appears to be top notch with special attention paid to upscale design and finishes. Great experience all around!
