Royal York Property Management (RYPM) is a scam. They get you to sign a Showing Authorization Form (SAF), then hit you with surprise fees and refuse to communicate clearly. After signing, they don’t inform you about anything until they send a first notice, and by then it’s too late to cancel. They lack transparency and are only interested in scamming you for money. Avoid at all costs!
The Property management side is very professional. But the maintenance team side is extremely inconsistent. Twice nice I have caught maintenance team taking action on work order and charging without approval, without communication and subsequently trying to justify their action. Recommend anyone dealing with them to take down super detailed communication string to avoid this scenario.
SCAM AND FRAUD ALERT !!!!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THE FAKE 5 STAR PAID REVIEWS. LOOK FOR 1 STAR REAL CUSTOMERS REVIEWS. I had a frustrating experience with RYPM and what feels like hidden charges. After an annual property assessment, their technician made an error while replacing the HVAC filter, which resulted in NO heat at the property the next day. Instead of taking responsibility, RYPM charged me $195 plus tax ($220.35) for another work order to fix their own technician’s error. The 2nd technician went on site and did NOTHING.... read more
