He emigrated to the United States in 1925 and worked in his uncle's pastry shop in Boston's North End until he opened Royal Pastry. Ninetta ( Urso ) Coppola was born in Floridia, Sicily and emigrated to Hartford, CT in 1920. Great bakery. My mom has been a customer since she was a kid. I drove all the way down to Cambridge from Manchester, New Hampshire to get her stuff. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious treats for a good price.
It was my son's bday and someone highly recommended their cake. We loved it!!! Btw we're from out of town and we love Boston and all the friendly people we encountered. Thanks!!!
They have amazing lobster tails and éclairs, such wonderful pastries!
