Built as a Spanish Colonial style mansion for a wealthy New York financier, at the base of Camelback Mountain, it was several years before this beautiful building, became the Royal Palms Resort. With old-style bathroom fixtures, ornate interiors and top class facilities, this is a favorite among the rich and the famous who come to Phoenix. With the contemporary restaurant, T. Cook's and theAlvadora Spa, you will be hard pressed to find a more relaxing hotel in town.

I was in the conference center. Staff is very receptive to our needs and the meals are always excellent.
My husband & I had a blast of relaxation. This is our 2nd time & we will be back. Everything Jen said is right on. I know Sebastian & Brent, haven't had the pleasure of meeting Jarrett but all staff members are very friendly, helpful with no expectations in return. The Spa is Amazing. Cristina was fantastic. Fell in love with this small resort. We will definitely be back to this gem.
My husband and I just recently got married here as a destination wedding and not only are the grounds stunning, the staff were absolutely incredible to work with! We had the beginning part of our honeymoon here and the casita's are adorable as well as spacious for two. We look forward to returning here soon!
The grounds are beautiful. Parking was valet. Wedding venue was spectacular. Looked like you were in a different country. Loved their appetizers and the staff was very friendly
You must visit this resort.. Incredible, quiet, classy, romantic and so much more
We had the most luxurious and relaxing stay here. We just got married and stayed here for a little honeymoon get away. We decided since we live here in the valley we intend to celebrate our anniversaries here each year. The room was beautiful with a huge bathtub, fire place an nice little private patio. The food and service at the restaurant T.Cooks was excellent! We ended our stay with a couples massage at the Alvadora Spa...absolutely amazing!!! The landscaping is beautiful. Make sure you ask about the history of the resor... read more
