About this business

Built as a Spanish Colonial style mansion for a wealthy New York financier, at the base of Camelback Mountain, it was several years before this beautiful building, became the Royal Palms Resort. With old-style bathroom fixtures, ornate interiors and top class facilities, this is a favorite among the rich and the famous who come to Phoenix. With the contemporary restaurant, T. Cook's and theAlvadora Spa, you will be hard pressed to find a more relaxing hotel in town.

What a rare and exemplary resort. First off, STUNNING location. Nestled in the desert, framed by the mountains. Gorgeous grounds. Beautiful landscaping. The friendliest and most attentive staff (without being overbearing). I felt like royalty. Greeted with champagne and warmth. Large, comfortable rooms with Japanese soaking tubs. I can't say enough. It's a place I want to return to again and again. Felt like an escape from the crazy world to a place of peace and bliss.

We celebrated our Anniversary at Royal Palms and was very impressed by the service and attention to detail. They welcomed us with a glass of champagne and really set the tone for our staycation. Rose petals were placed on our dinner table with a complimentary dessert to celebrate. The staff was very professional but very personable. We highly recommend Royal Palms and will be sure to book another staycation here.
