We decided to try out Royal Oxen Kitchen for dinner last week. My husband ordered their wagyu plate, i ordered the scallops, and we shared the eggrolls. The saigon chimichurri sauce and demi glace on the wagyu was very flavorful. We loved that dish the most. The scallops were also good. They were tender and not fishy at all. I’ve finally had a chance to check out East Bay Eats little food hall and saw this place on the menu. As I was browsing the kiosk menu I came across Royal Oxen Kitchen and decided to give this spot a try since the Australian steak and sea bass sounded amazing. Royal Oxen Kitchen is the new IT spot in Hayward y’all! Hubby brought home 5 dishes (wagyu x 2, pork belly x 2, and a Hennessy Chicken). Food was fresh, portions were generous, and most importantly everything was juicy and delicious. Don’t sleep on this place and order through door dash, grub hub, or Uber eats. Saw a new restaurant on my usual Uber eats/DoorDash search and wanted to try it out. Glad I did because it was amazing! We had the Hennessy chicken, braised pork belly and quail eggs, and Australian wagyu. All the portions were generous, flavorful, unique, and included rice and a side salad. I've already been back multiple times! Food was YUMMY! Will definitely be coming back for more
