Yesterday they did some work next door and it filled our apartment with the very strong odor of lacquer thinner. Maintenance and the office said to deal with it. Told a 4 month pregnant woman to deal with chemical smells in her apartment. 0 comfort in this place as we cannot get our a/c below 78 at any reasonable sleeping time. 80+ degrees in our apartment every day and again just told to deal with it. It will be 83 degrees in your apartment and they will tell you everything is fine A/C works great. Extremely humid inside, to the point the carpet feels wet under your feet. Mildew will form. Your fruits and veggies will only last a day. But everything is "great" so long as the maintenance crew doesn't have to actually work.
While we moved into the apartment at a weird time (during covid-19 outbreak), there were several problems that should have been taken care of before we moved in, and because of the virus, most of these problems will not be fixed until after the outbreak. However. On a positive note, the office staff have been extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. The apartment itself is very spacious, and well laid out.
this is the literal worst place I have lived in my life. our bathroom has been leaking and flooding the bottom floor for 3 years. mildew and mold in the ducts (confirmed by inspector), the "playground" is a deathtrap as the latter is only halfway attached, the bottom is crumbling from rot and the whole thing comes out of the ground if anyone bigger than a baby is on it. do they fix this MAJOR hazard? no. they install new grills and flowers for good photos. this place is not only mismanaged on account of massive turnover (tot... read more
