Get directionsThe nurse who took my blood was amazing and had 10 times the bedside manner and empathy than the new graduate, Doctor Jamie Ward, I saw after 4.5 hours of waiting. After he spoke to me like I'm a little child and without allowing me to share what was going on, I literally walked out the room.
My mom and uncle are currently on the 6th floor. N and S. My 120 lb uncle has fallen 4 times because the scrubs they gave him are an XL. He almost died...the nurses were right there. My mom was ringing her bell for 15 min and nobody went to help. She keeps soiling herself because the nurses are too busy on there cell phones to care. Not my choice of place to hang out...but if you must it's a lifesaver
TLDR Go anywhere else. Checked a friend in last night who was severely disoriented due to a seizure and needed overnight supervision due to being a danger to himself, and so I could clean dangerous debris out of his home. Spoke to 3 separate people and told them that he needs to spend the night there, told them he was a danger to himself. They all affirmed that they heard me and seemed to be writing stuff down. Went at 4pm yesterday. Wait time was at 8.5 hours and continued to rise. By middle of night there was one doctor available. Sounds like a crisis. Security consisted of two young women and a very young and questionable male seeming in charge. Junkies smoking drugs in bathroom setting off alarms. People drinking in the waiting room getting free sandwiches. I went with a list of symptoms of suspected lupus. This is serious and is slowly killing me. I know my body.
