10 hour wait for an extremely dismissive 2 minute appointment with a doctor. I had to ask for blood work to be checked because he didn’t check. He kept cutting me off saying “that’s it” “that’s it” before I had the chance to finish explaining my symptoms. Came from out of town, no one is spending 10 hours here for fun at least have some human compassion, hope I never stubble upon this hospital again.
It's a hospital in Canada. They do their best. I understand that there are long waits, sometimes extremely long waits but that's the system that we have to deal with. The problem is not funding, or money it's beurocracy. There are simply way too many people in the system in order for it to work efficiently and the demand on physicians is just too great. What we need is a serious streamlining of the entire system.
