House made chai. Not Oregon. Not Tazo. Not Rishi. House made and delicious. Get it with coconut milk.
Very nice, but not precious about it. Coffee shops of this quality are usually selling a fancy concept around their food and drink. Royal Grounds doesn't, and is all the better for it. It's just a nice neighborhood coffee shop. (Their only "concept" is tipping built into their pricing, which I appreciate.) The regulars here are close to the owner/operators, and the atmosphere is a perfect fit for the neighborhood.
Lovely, local coffee shop in my neighborhood. The baked goods are amazing and I always feel like I've just come onto someone's warm, hospitable kitchen when I walk in.
