The least professional HOA I've ever had the misfortune of living under. Their representatives have friends in various subdivisions who they do not enforce the rules with. Expect random notices/fines while various neighbors are allowed to do the stuff you're in trouble for. I genuinely don't know what this company does except turn subdivisions into ghetto-like areas.
I am a new board member in our townhouse association. My experience with RowCal as a board member and homeowner has been very positive. The member website is useful for retrieving information and details about my account. While on the board for a short time, my experience with Alex Weix, assures me I can happily continue in this role. He is on top of things, and is forthright in communications. Row Cal has consistently disappointing its residence. They consistently ignore the home owner votes when tasks need to be completed. Without making the required percentage vote to complete tasks, the HOA just does what they want. Because of this, homeowners are now paying over 500 a month to cover costs. There is also a rock in front of the property that they claimed the vote was approved, but nobody remembers voting for this and they haven't disclosed the information to prove the votes. RowCal came in as our new HOA property management company last year in 2023 at The Brownstones of Town Center in Highlands Ranch, CO. They offered many promises during the transition and appeared to be over communicating in attempt to exceed our expectations due to our previous experiences with Hammersmith. For years my property was at serious risk of fire. They literally told me through a response to my Google review to join the board to stop it from happening. I am so happy we are done with RowCal!
ROWCAL? Where do I begin with anything else but saying they are a absolutely horrible property management company. I learned quickly that if you contact them with a problem you will get a canned response, no response or a inadequate response and no follow-up. Since they have taken over managing our condo community things have only have gone downhill. SCAMMERS!!!! When my roommate and I toured, they said they would hold the property for a month for us. Just hours after submitting our non-refundable $45 application, they called and said that they will not hold the property for us and we have to move in early and pay 1/2 months rent. I asked for a refund on the application, seeing as we applied under false pretenses. No response.
In my experience ROWCAL in the HOA realm is only looking for more financial gain for themselves. I've heard of their predatory practices: jumping on any excuse to bill a fee, levying fines without homeowner recourse, foreclosing on home owners at the first opportunity. Look it up for yourselves.
