This is a hidden jem on the north shore. Good vibe in the bar with live music. Cozy and comfortable on the restaurant side. Very cool and well stocked wine cellar. Food was great, service was attentive, drinks were poured well. Go visit once and you will make roux and brew a regular.

I don't know why we waited so long to try this place.... Super friendly from the second we walked in the door. Barbecue shrimp & grits are delish, charbroiled oysters are really good, fried oysters are yummy, as are the hush puppies (& I don't typically like hush puppies)..., sauces & salad dressings are very good, as well.... Taste like made in house not poured from a bottle. Bread pudding was tasty, good wine, and again, very friendly bartenders, servers, everyone.,, from start to finish, every time we've gone there.

This was my second trip to the R&B and, again, I am just as delighted this trip as I was the first trip. My ribeye was cooked perfectly, tender, & had great flavor. I loved the creamed spinach. Their creole ranch was a great take on the standard ranch. Both times service was easy; attentive, but not hovering. My drink was a New Orleans Mint Julip - nice. I do recommend their Sazerac & chocolate martini. Try their crawfish etouffe & you will be pleased. Great place.
Great food-inviting!!. I was recommended to Roux & brew several times. Each and every time my family and I come to eat, we are welcomed with great service and excellent food.
