Catfish dinner with fried green tomatoes and black eyed peas was awesome. Excellent coconut and chocolate pie, too! Fast, friendly service. I'll be back!
With people in so much of a hurry these days - it explains some of the reviews. How about you take the time to enjoy a meal with your friends or family? Put the phones down, sit back and enjoy the wonderful old style food with face to face conversation. My family loves the food, atmosphere, staff and the fact that we can unplug and be a family.

Disappointed: First time eating here. 2 eggs over medium, 3 slices of bacon, rye toast, and home fries. Did not eat the home fries: no peppers & onions mixed in to start with - tasted & looked like they were 5 days old. Service was just ok: Only had my coffee refilled once and that was a wait with an empty cup. Could of used another cup too but no one came by. TMI- an hour later I was at home in the bathroom.
Whenever I can, I sneak away to Rt 66 Diner for Migas for breakfast! So good!!!
