RecommendedOur first time here. The kids are loving it. Had a great time at the Glow Foam Party. We're going to be here a week. Minor shower issues but it's a campground. We'll be back.
We just spent the weekend there and loved it. Friendly staff, including security staff. Beautiful, well maintained grounds, very frequent garbage pick up, older but very clean and private showers, and lots of things for a family to do, even a meat shop on site on Saturdays and a truck driving around playing music and selling slushies. 😃 Also very pet friendly which is important to us. We had a great time and will be back.
Lake hours are too short, showers are awful (one shower house had no hot water, one woman’s shower had holes in the ceiling, one woman’s shower flooded WHILE I was using it from drain backing up, essentially leaving no useful showers in the entire camp), campground is full of obnoxious and loud campers, quiet hours not enforced, sites very close together, pool wasn’t open and we weren’t told before check in. I will start with a positive. The campground is beautiful! It was clean. But, They need to revisit their new gate procedure. They need to have someone there to let people in rather than have them pay extra for that. If you leave before they open in the morning you lose your money. Also, they have the highest cancellation rate of any campground we have used, even as far out as 6 weeks cancelling, it still costs $50. Family friendly activities for adults, kids and everyone in between. Affordable rates, DJs (varies by seasonal schedule). Fun place! We come here two to three times per year. We have been coming here for nearly 25 years. No problems.

the nice neighbors behind us under section D decided to blast ghetto music at 1:30 am. I told them kindly to turn it down, they did for maybe 10 minutes. some girl shows up and tells them to turn it up. so they do. security did nothing but say please keep it down. so they turned it back up again till around 4am. office said to call the sheriff; there isnt much they can do about it!. wtf. if making noise is not a concern then I'll be making some of my own. all the people around them were too chicken to tell them to stop...bee... read more
