Roto Rooter cincinnati is by far the worst at resolving. Had a sewer line clog and waited 6 days and took off work for no one to even call or show up for the 3-5 appt time just to run a camera to diagnose the problem. Was told he went home at 5pm and will come Monday. What a horrible company to leave customers out on a limb. Reported them to local ******* *doesn't that stink, hope they put my info on the news letting customers know DOSENT THAT STINK and go elsewhere like Help plumbing or a local person.

EXTREMELY disappointed in the time it took for them to repair the sewer drain problem I had. They started on Saturday Nov, 6th and finally finished on Thurs. Nov 18th. There was a day when no one showed up and the final bill was more than the price originally quoted. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had which incudes me missing a week of work, NO ONE should ever use this company again!!!

Our basement has started to have a sewage smell which is extending up into the main level of our home. They first came out and jetted our pipes and said that should solve the issue. Smell came back the next day, we now have been cancelled on 4 appointments in a row! Horrible company with horrible customer service.

They are the most unprofessional company. Don’t make the mistake of doing business with them. They gave us a timeframe to come replace our main water line 3 times and didn’t show up. When they finally did come, they left trash everywhere in our yard including one of their shovels they broke on the job and multiple PVC pipes. There were wires sticking out of the ground where they refilled the dirt from digging up the pipe. They destroyed an entire irrigation zone which we are having to replace. Roto Rooter claims to be local in their ads, but they are a corporation based in Cincinnati. They have corporate rates. Being a senior, not having the experience of dealing with a plumber for more than 20 years, I was not savvy on prices (going rates). I was charged $520.00 for a simple kitchen (no garbage disposal) kitchen main drain cleaning, less than an hour's work. If I could give "0" stars, I would. Needed a dishwasher installed - dispatcher would not provide a price. Was scheduled for Friday from 2-4pm. Kept getting calls that they were delayed but would get to me. Finally, at 10p, they called and rescheduled for ****p on Saturday. Plumber shows up at 12:10pm and says it's $485 for a dishwasher install. Absurd. Average cost to install is $130-$180. I told him to forget it. They completely wasted my time.

My mother had a water leak in her basement and contacted roto roote when they arrived they ripped the walls and bathroom in her basement apart leaving her with a disaster. They had her sign papers and one of them was a credit card they opened and charged over $11000 dollars too. My mother is a senior citizen and widow and they took complete advantage of her. Recently, my wife, alone with kids at home, noticed a leak in the water heater and called Roto-Rooter in Grand Rapids/Kentwood/Holland, Michigan. Service Tech came out and quoted her 5,300.00 for “replacement and installation of a 50 gallon power vented water heater” and was told her that it was a fair market price and that he was not overcharging for it. Do not use this company. They told me I needed a full dig and pipe replacement to my waterline. I had a local plumber come out and he was able to clear the drain in a couple hours for $200.00. Rotorooter stated that they could replace the pipe, even though the pipe did not need replaced,for 5500.00!!! The pipe did not need replacement. Do not use this company. They are a scam and their technician are not plumbers. Stay away from this company.
