Austin, TX: I had Roto-Rooter come out to quote me on a simple diagnostic to determine why one of my properties' tank wasn't igniting and to fit a collar on the pipe. Before even looking at the details of the unit, they quoted me $700. The quote wasn't itemized at all and when I asked them what it's for, they verbally said getting and fitting the collar on the pipe, cleaning the basin of the tank, and servicing the burner. I would rate this company lower if I could. I had a leak under my sink and was told that there would be a $99 charge just to come out to the house. As I had difficulty finding anyone to come out, I felt I had to pay that cost. This started on a Friday and they could not come out until Monday. I had to turn off my water from the cutoff in our garage, and turning it off broke the valve. I shared this with the tech when he arrived and was told that it would cost $500 just to determine what was going on. Again, I felt I had no o... read more

Great company, I had an issue with my toilet being backed up and the technician came in within 2 hours, assessed the problem and provided me with a quote to fix the issue. 3 hours later we had no more toilet problems. His character was friendly and professional, really recommend this company.
