i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseThis company is FANTASTIC! We were panicked with an estimate from "Company A" to the tune of $6,500 for excavation. We called Roto-Rooter for a second estimate and what a difference! Both companies used a camera and sensor, but their diagnosis was VERY different. Roto-Rooter solved the problem without creating a major overhaul of our storm drains, pipes and yard. They jetted the lines, re-camera'd the pipes and continued all the way around the house. New to Rochester and called them for a problem. Very quick service - the plumber was there in about an hour. Pricing was clear and two options for unclogging an outdoor drain were offered. Finished on time and honored the initial estimate of cost.

I could not be happier with the service that Roto-Rooter provided recently. They came out VERY promptly (same day), fixed my toilet problem in about 5 minutes, the technician was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and the price was reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing their services.

I woke up to some big trouble today. The main drain was backed up. I called these guys. They were the first ones I thought of- I remembered that jingle and their TV commercial from all the way back when I was a kid. Don't ask, it was a VERY long time ago. They got somebody over here within an hour. The service man was friendly and had a sense of humor. I appreciated that, given the situation. Roto Rooter arrived 15 minutes earlier than expected, which was a very nice surprise. Joe listened to our concerns and how we had addressed them. He went into each of the bathrooms that we were having plumbing issues with. When he presented us with an estimate he explained what needed to be done and answered all of our questions. Installation took about 1 hr and the guy was very nice who did the installation. I was, however, surprised by the high labor charge and believe it would have been cheaper to use a different company since I had already purchased the disposal.

I called Roto-Rooter when my basement flooded due to roots clogging my sewer line. Our Roto Rooter plumber was prompt, courteous and most helpful. He even discounted the charge so that he could examine the sewer line with a TV camera to check for pipe damage. He then called the Brighton Town Hall to have them provide additional information. I found Roto-Rooter's service truly professional and they are the only plumbers I call when I have a flooding problem. Truly 5 stars!

Highly recommended. Called Roto-Rooter at 7:45 am on 04/08/10 and Joe Sewar was here by 8:00 AM that same day. Joe replaced the drain pipes and had us up and running in no time.Thanks Joe!
