Everyone in New York City thinks their steak is the best place. Being a New Yorker, I can tell you that the steaks at Rothmann's 'are' the best with top-class service. None better and I've eaten at every steakhouse in the city. If you're not dining at Rothmann's once a week, you're not eating at the right restaurant. I can only imagine that those who do not like it are most likely tourists. Welcome to New York City! Dennis Tedder

Not what I had expected – Overpriced, noisey atmosphere, very dark, no leg room and it ruined my weekend. I wont ever go back agian, never and i hope that you guys wont too. I hate this place so much, ruined my weekend, it seriously did.

Great atmosphere, great service, outstanding steak! – A friend and I had dinner here last night. It was the first visit for both of us. We found all of the staff very friendly and attentive. The seating was comfortable, the atmosphere and surroundings were very pleasant. We each started with an appetizer. My Shrimp Wilson was fine but her Hot Chili Tuna Tartare was very good. Great Steak and Atmosphere – This is a great mid-town steakhouse and I eat here often as I work in Midtown. Great Steaks, as good as the Palm, and great atmosphere with outside tables in good weather. Also sweet potato fries, my favorite!! and chocolate souffle is out of this world!!! Absolutely 5 stars!!!

MY favorite – There is nothing lacking from this establishment other than the stuffiness that comes with an established name in the market. The staff are very attentive, the wine list is extraordinary (allowing for all wallet sizes from the 30$ to the 2000$ bottle), the sides are great and can serve a small party, the steaks...oh the steaks! Thier sommelier is knowledgeable, as are the waitors. The bar is a great "networking" location. The decor is a modern take on the traditional steakhouse. The powerhouse of steakhouses.. – I have to admit Ive been to alot of steakhouses and Rothmann's I can say is one of the best Steakhouses I've been to. The steak is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the wine list is neverending. But overall the staff, management, cooks, and everyone else has attended to all of my needs except rubbing my feet. So I highly recommend this steakhouse to all.

A big-money steakhouse among the crowded ranks of restaurants on East 54th Street. – The Scene Though the interior is relatively open and modern, Rothmann's appeal still comes across as a big-money, masculine one. DELICIOUS! – We stopped here on a whim while walking around NYC. The staff were courteous, the atmosphere was pleasant, and most of all, the food was FANTASTIC! The portions were a little gigantic (I can't eat a 16oz steak on a good day!), but other than that, excellent. Oh, and an excellent Cosmo.
