Not an incredibly humanizing or helpful experience, you may get the diagnoses you need, but there are psychiatrists who offer more thorough testing and I would have waited to go to a more insightful practitioner had I known. One of the tests administered to me (in 2024) was from 1967 (and on a cassette tape), so to say the materials they use are outdated is to say the least. I do not recommend this practice.
I don’t know about others’ experiences, but when my mom was in rehab, Dr. Ross helped us handle a very difficult conversation. He came when he said he would, and he did not back down with the information he needed to give. He did a great job being tactful, yet factual. Before the meeting, he also spent a great deal of time discussing the facts with my daughter, so we had a clear picture of the situation.

Don't expect help in a timely manner. My son has been waiting 6 months for a diagnosis that was supposed to have been done in a 2 month time line. They did however make sure to get the bill to me right away.
Absolutely the worst experience EVER! My husband was kicked in the head by one of our horses and was having some post concussive type symptoms. After waiting MONTHS for an appointment, we finally were excited to go through the extensive testing and get results to help with management of these symptoms in order to try to help hubby become as independent as possible. 2 months later, the results finally came in the mail (no phone call, no appointment to review, nothing).
