Not an incredibly humanizing or helpful experience, you may get the diagnoses you need, but there are psychiatrists who offer more thorough testing and I would have waited to go to a more insightful practitioner had I known. One of the tests administered to me (in 2024) was from 1967 (and on a cassette tape), so to say the materials they use are outdated is to say the least. I do not recommend this practice.

I don’t know about others’ experiences, but when my mom was in rehab, Dr. Ross helped us handle a very difficult conversation. He came when he said he would, and he did not back down with the information he needed to give. He did a great job being tactful, yet factual. Before the meeting, he also spent a great deal of time discussing the facts with my daughter, so we had a clear picture of the situation.

Don't expect help in a timely manner. My son has been waiting 6 months for a diagnosis that was supposed to have been done in a 2 month time line. They did however make sure to get the bill to me right away.
