I would have given a five star review except that their name hasn’t changed but they have a picture of the hotel with the changed name. When my sister tried to help me with booking the hotel, they said that there were under construction and we had to pay a higher priced rooms for the renovated rooms. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT book at this hotel. Aside from the fact that it has been “undergoing renovations” for several months now and they do NOT disclose this in the booking (the lobby looks horrendous with brick walls and cement walls and no furniture/anywhere to sit but a little couch), and that the rooms are OLD and poorly painted and dirty, the even bigger problem is the presence of BED BUGS, which have infected the bed and consequently my clothes and left me with bites all over that i now have to get treated for. Stayed at the Koxie hotel for a week during the 4th of July with 3 friends while attending the Anime Expo that happens annually at the convention center. Great spot, lots of nearby stops and food, and all within a reasonable walk. Place was under construction during our stay but that didn't hinder our experience once and the staff were super friendly and accommodating!
The rooms did not look like how they did in the pictures. The room I selected was not the room I got and it was specified on the website or Expedia the different rooms. There is a lot of construction so it does not look nice in the lobby area. Very disappointed.
