Typically the service here is excellent. However today the entire experience was very poor. To start, it took 20 min to get our order taken. We didn’t mind. Then a family of 8 and a family of 3 sat down approx around the same time we put our order in. We patiently watched as both tables orders were taken 10/15 min after ours. More time passed and all the tables that sat down after us had now had there food. A "real" breakfast diner in the best ways. I rate diners on their American fries. Rosie's is a 5 star. Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Bonus points for: talkative and friendly regular clientele. This was my first time, but I won't miss future opportunities to eat here when back in LaCrosse.

Excellent food, excellent service and good prices!
Just not that great. Service was very good but food was not very good. Bacon was cold , pancake was over cooked on one side. And most of all the cinnamon roll taste old like two days old. 😕
Hands down best cinnamon rolls around! omelettes are excellent and very reasonably priced.
