Excellent food and service! What an interesting little cafe nestled in an old part of La Crosse!

What a gem! The wait staff is fantastic - they really hustle and are very tentative! The food was very good home cooking!! You won't go away hungry or thirsty (endless cups of coffee). The hollandaise sauce is unique but tasty and goes good with the eggs, toast, hashbrowns, etc. Very quaint! Sidenote: make sure you have cash, check or atm card (machine on-site) as they don't take credit/debit cards at the register, no big deal!
We were in town visiting our daughter in college and found this place off the beaten path but well worth the excursion to find it. Excellent food, super friendly wait staff and prices are great. Avoid the chain restaurants and support these local neighborhood shops.
