I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Bearnson. I was a first time mom who found out I had to have a C-section. She came and placed my epidural with such care. She had a great way of keeping you calm. She almost made it a fun experience. She was optimistic. She even sang. She explained everything as she did it. The epidural worked beautifully.
Dr. Bearnson was my anesthesiologist yesterday for a procedure I had done at UVRMC. She was exceptionally kind, funny, and explained everything she would be doing before she did it. She put some pain numbing meds in the IV before I got the anesthesia and it made it so the anesthesia didn’t have that terrible burning sensation in my arm. She also gave me meds so I wouldn’t be nauseous when I woke up. It was, by far, my best experience with anesthesia. She is fabulous and I can highly recommend her.
