We've been taking our fur family to Dr. Sheahan for over 15 years for check-ups, surgeries, and to board. She and her staff are so kind, caring, thorough, knowledgeable, and just great with furry creatures. If you are in need of an awesome doctor for your babies, I highly recommend RVH. They are open for business and taking great precautions to ensure the health of their staff and patients (and their patients' hoomans).
Dr. Sheahan and her staff are top notch. Dr. Is incredibly knowledgeable as well as caring. Her staff has made us feel confident that we are in excellent hands. They know us by name and always take the time to explain all of the care and process. We feel so blessed to have this vet in our community.
I moved to Bakersfield 1 year ago. Leaving behind my Vet of many years was the hardest part. I researched many Vet's here, and chose Dr. Sheahan. I am extremely picky on who takes care of my girl. Dr. Sheahan works amazing with her, and both of our anxiety. I appreciate that she treats my girl as a whole, and not just labs results. She looks at physical symptoms, or lack there of. Heidi has always shown such love, care and compassion when she has cared for any of my furbabies. When she had helped any to cross the bridge you can see and feel her heart is breaking with yours. I love Heidi for the wonderful and caring lady and vet that she is.

They always gave myself & my dogs 100% of their attention. consulting with me about my dogs’ care and their well-being. Very knowledgeable veterinarian and staff. With a professionally ran office. I moved out of state, and miss them. I highly recommend them for any dog or horse in need.
