All exceptional pediatricians here We switched to this practice after my son was 1 year old. His previous pediatrician was never available to see us, and we were always seen by an associate. Dr. Gokey is very busy, but she almost always finds time to get us in within the day of my call with any concern. Dr. Crosby has seen our son as well - and is an exceptional choice as well. Many of our friends see Dr. Powell and are VERY happy with him. We are very happy with this group as a whole.
Great practice I have a 5 month old son, and he has been seeing Dr Crosby since birth. We were originally hoping to see Dr Powell, but he wasn't accepting patients and thus sent us Dr Crosby, who is new to the practice. We couldn't be happier with her. She's intelligent, friendly, easy-going and wonderful with the baby. I would highly recommend her. I have several girlfriends that use Powell and are very happy. The same goes for Dr Gockey.
Best Pediatrician around My wife and I have a six year old son with Down Syndrome. He was always in the lower end of the growth chart. He also was having some sleep apnea problems. His pediatrician at the time didn't seem to know what to do to help him. Someone gave us Dr. Powell's contact information. We called and were told that he wasn't accepting new patients (that's how good he is). We asked if they could make an exception, and they did. Best Childrens Dr in town! We have been using Dr. Maria Gokey for the past 8 years and she is always wonderful with our children. They love going to visit her. They always bring her dog treats! She is very sweet with them even on the days they need shots! Would use another Dr.

Great bed side manner! Dr. Powell has been our doctor to both of my boys since birth - they are now 7 & 10. They are not at all intimidated/aprehensive about seeing a doctor since Mark's absolutely great with kids (and parents too).
My son used to go to Dr Mark Powell before we switched to an HMO. Rose City Pediatrics does not accept HMO's. My niece sees Dr Gokey at the same practice and they are quite happy with her. What we liked about Dr Powell is that he is very thorough. We had a premature baby with a lot of problems and Dr Powell was extremely helpful with the GI problems and also referred us to specialists for surgury and therapy for other problems. Mark is great with kids and also easy to work with as a parent. Also, if you have a special needs child he is an excellent pediatrician. We've been very happy with the whole practice.
