I have been seeing Dr Evans since 2006,he is the best and most understanding Doc I have ever met! I have had 2 surgeries with him and they have turned out wonderful! He honestly is the best and will NOT offer surgery unless 100% necessary! Wonderful Doc!

Had meniscus repair then several yrs later had same knee done I have been in pain and scared to go again never healed and I am always in pain. Will never go back and do not recommend him. He needs to retire.
The most professional, skilled and compassionate Orthopaedic Surgeon I have ever known. He has taken care of my entire family. He has done surgery on my children and a very complicated shoulder surgery on my husband. I have been a patient of his for over 35 years and have had many arthroscopic surgeries which have left me better than ever! He only does surgery when it is absolutely necessary. He always tries alternate approaches first. He & his staff strive for excellence in everything they do.
My experience with Dr. Evans is with two surgeries on left knee in 2009 and 2018. In 2009 I had a total knee replacement. In 2018 I had a revision to replace the plastic shim that serves as the meniscus in the metal joint. The 2009 surgery required many unnecessary weeks of slow recovery and rehab. The revision in 2018 should have been a simple surgery but turned out to be a "butchering" of the knee. Dr. Evans is an "old school" surgeon, so you will experience much pain and suffering.
I went with my roommate to have a very simple surgery done and despite insisting that she has a genetic condition that requires incisions to be glued rather then stitched or stapled, he didn't listen. I wish we had read the reviews here, because he did the same things to us: he yelled at us in post-op saying how he was the doctor, I was getting her worked up over nothing, and the staples were fine we were just trouble makers. When I tried to explain, he literally told us to shut up and leave.
