The Baltimore neighborhood of Federal Hill has a glut of bars, but if you are looking for an exclusive selection of beers, then Ropewalk is probably the best place to visit. With more than 150 different beers to choose from, trying to find one is absolutely mind-boggling. Thankfully, the helpful staff is knowledgeable and instructive while you peruse the menu. From the kitchen, the selections highlight the lauded Maryland Crab, from cakes to Po' Boy sandwiches, it doesn't scream Baltimore any more than this.

Ropewalk Tavern is a great time. really great comfort food. Many beers on tap and a great selection of bar food. Really good prices and a comfortable setting. Pool in the bar and lots of tvs to catch the games.
Ropewalk Tavern I was blown away by the sheer amount of space this place had. I am a cigar man so I made my way upstairs. They closed the cigar area earlier than the rest of the joint, so that was odd, but for a Saturday night the upstairs was very relaxing, given how many people were downstairs. So you have a set of people who drink and talk, drink and dance, or drink and smoke. A pretty nice set up. I will come again for sure.
One of only two smoking bars (3rd floor only allowed) in Maryland This place has 6 bars and the third floor is the smoke easy cigar lounge. Although known for 200 kinds of beer, Ropewalk's crabcake is simply the best in Maryland if not the world. To compliment it all they have a bronze statue of Ronald Reagan!
great late night hangout Ropewalk is one of our favorite places to go out in Baltimore. You don't really have to wait too long for a beer. There is plenty of space to sit down and have a few appetizers.
RecommendedBest Bar in Baltimore! The staff makes you feel like a member of the family. Lots of great beers and specials too.
